Meet Info!
We are ONE team!
We have 3 meets every season. Followed by the State Championships and then the Pacific North West Invitational Championships (PNWIC).
Each meet starts on Friday morning and lasts till Sunday evening.
Below you'll find lots of important info to help you prepare and enjoy your WAHSET season.
Prepare for meet
Things to bring:
Your team polo
Required show clothing and boots
Helmet
All your tack, double check!!
Eye bolts for water buckets and hay nets
Bucket hangers
Snap for stall door (they don't have them)
A trunk for your stuff
Enough hay for the whole weekend
Blanket for your horse at night (it's cold!)
Salt lick or salt in your grain
Camping is full hook up in most spots at Elma
If you have heated vests or coats, BRING IT!
Gloves
Pocket hand warmers/foot warmers
Under Armor and lots of socks
Remember IT'S COLD!

Meet Buddies
We are THE WHITE RIVER HORNETS!
One of the ways we support each other is with Meet Buddies.
-You'll get a different buddy for each meet
-These will be sent to you individually on Remind
-The only rules are: don't leave your buddy hangin' and you have to find them (ask around at the meet)
-Find something or some way to make your buddy feel special at the meet. It can be a small gift, candy, a note, a starbucks run or anything you can think of that will make them feel supported and special.
At the meet:
Athletes can not drive to the meet
You can arrive anytime after 3pm on Thursday
Events start at 8am on Friday
Events end on Sunday afternoon
All Athletes wear team helmet covers
All athletes use team saddle pads
With your horse? No cell phones!
With your horse? Number on your back
ALL Parents and athletes help with our assigned events
If partaking please contribute to the food

All athletes use WR saddle blankets for all events, we have western and english.

Helmet covers for all athletes

Matching WR halters and lead ropes for IHOR

WR stencils with gold and red glitter for your horse in IHOR and western games events

You need to have your number on whenever your around your horse. Either printed and pinned, embroidered or silk screened.
